mama?

How come, she doesn't say mama? She says dada, twenty times an hour, she can point him out on a picture and say dada. She can say duck, and does, a similar number of times a day. She can say book, and church and socks of all things but still no mama. I know she can make the sound but she just doesn't use it!!! She can do a snake's hiss, a sheep's baa, a lion's roar, a rabbit's nose twitch, a cat's purr and yet she will not say mama. Why is that?

Oh well...

So much for 'we'll be updating the blog more frequently'. Although i did try to update it a few weeks ago, my picture wouldn't upload and then kitty woke up and that was the end of that. As you can see from the picture, Kitty loves keyboards (of every variety) and felt right at home playing something very 'modern' in the middle of her favourite shop, The Early Learning Centre! Watching her in there brings back all kinds of wonderful memories of that shop as a child. The colours,the smells, the brio train set and that little red and yellow car that i coveted so badly, oh and the swings you wern't allowed to go on but you just knew they'd be great fun if you could! Big news: She has learnt to walk and is getting really confident now, and yesterday she discovered how to stand up from sitting without holding onto the furniture. Well, pip pip cheerio!
