Learning new tricks

We're all learning new things this week! Steve has been playing 'if you chance to meet a frown' in his school assembly today and has been singing it (and other variations along the same theme) all week. I've been learning about quantum chromodynamics (among other things but that one sounds the most impressive). And Kitty is learning to pull faces! This is one of her recent favourites!!!!! I find it hysterical. Anyway, such is life, sheep go baa (the last part MUST be said with a westcountry accent or it's just not funny).

So there I was...

... minding my own business, when they just got out that flashy clicky thingy and took an unauthorised image of me in my door bouncer! Well, I mean, is that right? I think not. Then just as I sit typing this, logic steps in an I realise I'm just a baby and can't thruieysao;ihfklsglakhj flksdlgkhsdfaf.
Sorry about that, Kitty took it upon herself to type a message. I had to remind her that it's just not done at her age. So yes, there's a picture of her in her door bouncer which we took today. She loves it! She spends ages in it just, well, bouncing. (Hard to think what else she could do in it...)
The second rather distracted yet cute picture of her is just before her blessing in a dress Amy's parents bought for her. We managed to keep it clean! (Fanfares and the like play as the world realises that this is a miracle, seeing as it is an all white dress, and she was wearing it in public!)

The next picture is of us all in Plymouth at Amy's sister Sarah's wedding. Kitty is particularly interested in the flowers, no doubt she wishes to put them in her mouth... Amy's mum made the dress she (Amy) is wearing. (But not the suit I'm wearing... That would be pointless, I'd already bought it...)

The final picture has been ommitted as it was just a really boring shot of the floor, taken when I wasn't concentrating.

Bye then.

awwwww....

Here is a slightly blurred picture of Kitty sleeping.....isn't she precious! Those cheeks are growing faster than everything else! She's now on solids, or rather solids are now on her, and me, and her bouncing chair, and everything currently sitting in the washing basket! However, she's loving it all (except parsnip, and who can blame her). I've still got butternut squash on my hands! Well, we havn't posted anything of late, mainly because we recently took our first very long journey to Plymouth for my sister Sarah's wedding (which was beautiful). After a series of unfortunate events resulting in an 11 hour journey it took her a while to settle down but she soon became accustomed to the soft water and the sea air. Pictures of the wedding will follow i promise. As for us (we hardly ever get a mention in this thing) Steve is getting in touch with his aborigional side and learning to play the didgeridoo, it's harder than you think, i can't even make a sound. And me, i've just started an open university course called how the universe works, it's all very interesting, all cosmology and particle physics and 11 dimensional space! But that's enough for now, have a wonderful day!
